Humbleness Helps

I was going through book of Zephaniah from the bible this evening. These are the following points I felt as an individual that, we should learn from and change the way we live. This book is a prophecy given by God to the man Zephaniah about the day when Lord arrives on the earth in future.

1. The book starts with how God is angry on those who have forgotten him and left. God, the creator is feeling disheartened because humans stopped the counsel of the lord. Humans started living life by following their own will. Though it sounds harsh reading the book on God’s wrath over the people, I can also see how God was so desperate to have fellowship with us.
2. Proud will perish and Humble will survive — this I can say as the one line summary of the entire book. Being open to correction, kind and helping others to win are the true indicators for a perfect human being. Seeking the counsel of God at all times, in any matter as a mandatory factor will surely bring favor and the grace of God in our lives.
