Country = People
Am I strange? why am I feeling this way that I never felt in the past 25 years🧐 I love my city, I love my country♥️ When I meant love, I meant that I love everything in it be it an animal or a human, be it a living thing or an inanimate thing. I love people irrespective of who they are, what they do, from where they’ve come (background)and what they have.
When I meant I love, this love = respect. It is better to be a patriot in the way I think, do, feel, talk and respect the people around me in my country. Being a patriot is different from showing patriotism. Not everyone who carries a flag symbol on their car/shirt is called a true patriot. Patriotism lies in the way I talk to women, the way I drive my car, and the way I respect elders (even if they are rude sometimes). We are humans but when have we started living like humans?
My eyes have no filter despite who the opposite person is — Hindu, Muslim Christian, Sikh. I have my spiritual ideologies and faith-based practices which may or may not align with the other religions. But that doesn’t mean that I reject and disrespect other religions. Is there any price we are paying for the air we breathe, the water we use, and the earth that we are living on? No, They are priceless. Then why do we boast about all the Man-made things(caste, partiality, disputes, hatred, and some good inventions like my laptop) which are very harmless to the world(people) and nature harmful always?
Being born in a secular country like India, feeling insecure, where thousands of people died for freedom and their voices to be heard is the worst feeling that you can get. I feel and assume that every true citizen of India is demoralized and scared of how they will be perceived if they(citizens) don’t agree and portray themselves on how they are asked to do by the ‘so-called patriots’
Can we try for peace over power, decency above demeaning nature, and respect one another irrespective of who they are?
Mera bharat mahan hai aur humesha rahega.
Lekin hum bhi mahan rahna aur mahan vyakti jaisa jeena bhi zaroori hai.
There is no argument against truth and that’s it.
